Restore your data from an old extension

Restore of a backup is currently not conveniently possible, but there are workarounds.

  1. Install Firefox
  2. Download version 2.19.5:
    3. worldbrains_memex-2.19.5-fx.xpi.zip26582.6KB
  3. Restore your backup in this version of the extension
    1. Go to “backup & restore” in the settings
  4. Update extension to current version from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/worldbrain/versions/
  5. Login with the account you use and do the migration process you find on the dashboard
  6. Wait until upload complete
  7. If you have no other extension running, download the current Memex version in the browser you want to work in
  8. If you have already an extension running, just wait until download in target extension complete
  9. Done!
