Galileo di Vincenzo Bonaiuti de' Galilei[2] (Italian: [ɡaliˈlɛːo ɡaliˈlɛi]; 15 February 1564 – 8 January 1642) was an Italian astronomer, physicist and engineer, sometimes described as a polymath, from Pisa.[3] Galileo has been called the "father of observational astronomy",[4] the "father of modern physics",[5][6] the "father of the scientific method",[7] and the "father of modern science".[8]

Overhauled Sidebar

The sidebar was long due for a refactor. It has a couple of performance and UX issues that we resolved:

  • Annotations load instantly when opening the sidebar
  • Adding new highlights & annotations does not trigger a reload like before
  • Style overhaul


Miscellaneous fixes:

  • Fix upgrading workflow
  • Notification to show you when you're running out of trial
  • Fix bug that made Memex not work in Vivaldi anymore

  • Improving performance of sync
  • Improvement of styles of Google and DuckDuckGo integration, and show 20 results instead of just 5
  • Improve Restore UX
